Gear prefixes are that which makes common up to epic gear pieces that you collect unique to one another. This is due to random prefixes being applied on your gear pieces which will modify its stats, these stats may be positive and/or negative.

Positive stats will increase the activation cost of the item while negative stats will decrease the cost. With this it is possible to have a piece with an activation cost of 0 shards.

Each prefix and its corresponding stat are bound to a faction. This is noticeable when sorting your gear by faction. Within each faction all prefixes are also bound to a tier of gear,for example: Rejuvenating is a prefix that you will only find on epic-level Eldrid gear.

Unlike the normal static prefixes that do not change at all, there are also certain prefixes which change depending on what item they are applied on. A piece of gear that gives increased movement speed can have a Guerrilla's prefix causing you to gain additional movement speed while under 50% health. Variable prefixes only occur on prefixes with positive traits

Note that all values in above table are for "perfect quality" gears, so they are maximum values for given prefixes. It is imposible to provide max values for variable prefixes because it depends of base stat. Actually given variable prefix gives different percentage of primary item bonus for different stats.
