- Oscar Mike shares the same voice actor, Jim Foronda, for Whiskey Foxtrot, ISIC, MINREC and some minor characters from audio lore spinets.
- Jim Foronda also voiced several characters in previous series by Gearbox Software, Borderlands, most notably the voice of Dahl corporation and the Lance Probe robots of Atlas corporation.
- Oscar Mike was the first character designed for the game. His design influenced the rest of the game's development.[1]
